Account Resolution Analyst

The Account Resolution Analyst retrospectively reviews payment of claims on remittances to insure maximum reimbursement of accounts and will be responsible for identifying and determine discrepancies and researching the root cause of recurring issues by taking all necessary actions to expedite the prompt payment and/or resolution of capitated and managed care contracted accounts and serves as primary feedback mechanism to determine if contract specifications are being adhered to.

Prepares accounts for secondary billing with 98-100% accuracy. Corrects allowances as appropriate in order to bring the account to resolution within five (5) days of receipt of account with 98 100% accuracy. Processes Quarterly Medicare Credit Balance and Accounts Receivable Reports.


· Associate's degree in a business related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

· Three (3) or more years billing or claims management experience in a hospital /healthcare computerized accounts receivable environment.

· Extensive knowledge of third party insurance carriers and their billing and reimbursement requirements.

· Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy.

· Ability to perform detailed analysis quickly and accurately.

· Need to have keyboard skills of at least 45 wpm and use a calculator.
